Sailesh Mishra, founder of Silver Innings says :

In our experience working with ‪‎Missing‬ ‎Seniorcitizens‬, it is found that most of them (almost 90%) suffer from some form of mental condition -‪ ‎Dementia‬ and ‪#Alzheimers‬ being most common.
It's also found that most have been missing while Traveling in public transport like Train or Bus.
Also they go missing while performing daily activity like, routine walk, going to work place, looking out for something.....
Some go missing early in morning, they just open door and walk off .... Or while going for walk in afternoon / night, after the meal......
It's a request to be extra careful if your parents, spouse, relative, elders, neighbour have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer's. Don't neglect and say 'it's only initial stage', 'he or she remembers, but only has some small memory loss'...... You never know, when they will go missing..... Only 10 to 15% elders are traced or found alive.....
Use tracking device, be extra vigil, appoint care givers, give them ID card, Tag their dress, give them hand band, as last option admit them to Assisted living care home.....
Please share this, it might help someone...
If any elders goes missing pls write to us at silverinnings@gmail.com or visit our blog: http://missingseniorcitizenalert.blogspot.in or FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/missingseniorcitizenalert/ we will try to help
