Question from a concerned and worried mother: Can someone help me for this problem..

My daughter 6 years old suffering from chronic constipation and fissure problem..

she is now taking homeopathy medicine for her indigestion n fissure condition ..from 10 months she not gaining weight..now she is 16.5 KGS from last 8 months

The paeditrician suggested laxative for month..but we didn't get any results. laxative makes her stool soft..later again constipation n fissure pain

The stools are sometimes large..Now we giving her potty training on Indian style bathroom

there must also be a lot of anxiety and stress. try to distract her with music, or listening to a story - so you are both not stressed during potty times

also, add fibre in her diet - vegetables, fruits, seeds. and make sure she drinks enough water during the day
find a good paediatrician or even a good GP

Fruits and uncooked leafy vegetables are good for constipation. Milk can also cause constipation so can nuts (Badam, Pista etc). Drinking two glasses of luke warm water 1/2 to one hour before pottie will soften stool.
