hey everyone, I'm Heather, and I'm struggling a lot with endometriosis. it's new to me. the bloating/inflammation and severe pain are the worst. I just had to quit my job because I'm not physically well enough to do it, and I've been more or less bed-ridden for the past week and a half. I'm 20 years old.
to those of you more experienced with endometriosis, what advice do you have?

So sorry to hear about all your discomfort! Endometriosis can present with pain during PMS, periods, passing urine or stool and even sex. It also causes constipation, abdominal fullness or bloating, nausea etc. The first line of treatment for endometriosis is Hormone therapy. I would also use warm compresses and oral painkillers such as NSAIDS or Mefanamic acid for pain relief. Regular form of exercises, lose of excess weight and managing stress can be quite beneficial too!
