Hello Doctor, I am 48 years old now. Since almost for the last 12 years i am having pain on my left arm, left shoulder, fingers on the left hand, chest. The pain is not constant at one particular place. It keeps changing ..sometimes on the shoulder only, sometime on the fingers only, sometime on the chest only. Even in chest it does not pain at the same position it keeps chaning its position to the left, right, bottom or whole chest. I have been visiting cardiologist randomly whenever the pain intensity is too high. Multiple cardiologist found nothing wrong with my heart. I use to take atleast 1 TMT test per year. All negative so far. Last year i went to a multi speciality hospital in coimbatore for a master health check up and the TMT test was announced as postivie after 8 minutes. Hence i did an CT cornory angio and eveything was normal as per CT cornory angio. 3 Months back i did another TMT test and the doctor declared it as negative. I have done echo test multiple times and nothing wrong observed. However, the intensity and the frequncy of the pain is constantly increasing espically in the last 2 years the pain is almost every day and every minute in one or the other lcoation. I visited a neurologist who after an MRI scan of neck declared nothing wrong and suggested to visit an ortho specialist. I visited an ortho specialist and he suggested to take shoulder MRI. Nothing wrong was observed in the shoulder MRI too. He suggested to do pyhisotherapy. But any kind of physiotherapy actually increases my pain  and not decrease. Now the doctors suggest me to go to a physiciatrist but i am not sure if i  need to as i am not complaining without any pain. I am a travelling person (Across globe) for the last 25 years. I travel quite a lot in flights and taxis for the last 7 years visiting various countries in europe and south east asia often. Due to the above condition, i am always under slight depression. I get too depressed due to the fear factor if the pain on the left side increases beyond certain level espicially when i am travelling.  Last week my doctor suggested to take an CT chest - but i am not sure if i should expose myself to another CT (as i have taken a CT cornory angio just last november and that report too had a chest sreeening which said everything normal). Could you throw some light about the reasons. Attaching herewith the reports. Also kindly advice me if i need to go for a CT chest and if it will give more informaton other than the chest screening that was done last november .

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

Hi, I would suggest seeing a good joint and muscle doctor such as a Rheumatologist for possibility of Chronic Pain syndrome or Fibromyalgia. Best treatment would be to manage the pain well!
