About Us

About us

PatientsEngage, a social enterprise, is a patient/caregiver focused healthcare platform for supporting the management of chronic diseases.

Why did we start PatientsEngage By Aparna Mittal, CEO and Founder

What we want, above all else, is that no one should fight alone.

The last few years, my family and friends have been hit by a spate of health scares – brain tumour, cancer, stroke, heart attack. Each time, I would try to find out as much as I could about the conditions and treatments on the internet, so I could be there for them, armed with the right information. And while the internet gave me a lot of information, it threw up as many questions in my mind. I wanted to hear from people who had tried out a specific treatment – what were the side effects, how did they deal with it, had they learnt something that could help another… I visited online forums but found that often they did not reflect the Asian perspective. And so grew the idea of PatientsEngage – a space where people in similar circumstances can share information and learn from each other.
