Acitrom works by reducing the Vitamin K in the blood thus protecting against blood clots. Hence foods rich in Vitamin K should be avoided. This includes greens such as spinach, brussel sprouts, spring onions, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce etc. Also fruits like dried prunes, grapes, figs, blueberries are high in vit K. Small amounts are present even in eggs, fish, liver and meat. So make sure you check before consuming any food product. Daily exercise and healthy diet are best!
