Renal parenchymal disease refers to damage of the internal kidney tissue. This affects the functioning and urine formation.
Grade 1 means that the kidney appears isoechoic with corticomedullary tissue differentiation. It is often detected as renal scarring on an Ultrasound. Common cause includes diabetes and hypertension.

Hello Dr. Shital,

I am 33 years old. Recently i took general master health checkup after a vidal fever. In Ultrasound it was mentioned both kidneys are echogenic kidneys and in impression it mentioned Grade 1 renal Parancymal disease. But all my creatinine, BUN, Urine tests, Albumin to creatinine ratios are normal and my doctor said nothing to worry about it and treated for my low b12 and D since i stay in a cold country. And i repeated the test except ultrasound again after 3 months. And i see all values are same still. And i do not have BP or Diabetes. And i am a very active guy...who do exercise almost 6 days in a week. Since i saw a similar comment i was curious to know about this.

Thank You...!

Best Regards
