Cellulitis is a common skin infection affecting the skin and tissues beneath the skin. It is commonly caused by bacteria such as Staphylococcus or Streptococcus. This often presents as a rash, redness, swelling and inflammation of the skin. People with uncontrolled diabetes are at a higher risk for this infection.
