Sometimes I am constipated or sometimes I have loose motions. I cant understand why does it happen. Can anyone pl reply and tell the reason. I am having diabetes since 18 years is it due to this.

A common medication for diabetes is metformin. For some people, metformin can cause some stomach upset/diarrhea however it usually goes away after a while. There are newer formulations of metformin, known as the slow release versions which helps address this problem.
You also mentioned having diabetes for 18 years. We know that in long standing diabetes, nerve damage can occur, and some of the nerves which control the intestines can be affected as well. It's a condition can gastroparesis. It may be what is causing your stomach upset perhaps.

Not that I am aware of. I, too, am living with diabetes for over 25 years now, but haven't seen a correlation between the disease and stomach problems.
