I think you may be referring them in mmol/L. In that case the Fasting level 5.6 to 6.9 is considered Pre-diabetes while a Random of less than 11.1 is normal.

Hi Mykie, what units are these results in? Usually fasting and random glucose levels are in mg/dl. Normal fasting glucose level is less than 100mg/dl while normal random glucose level is less than 140mg/dl.
