Hi. . . I would like to know about reading variations. . . . Today morning the fasting reading was 154 nd post 30 minutes of walk the reading was 160. . . . . Why

There can be many reasons for this and everyone responds to exercise differently. In general long sustained light aerobic activity tends to lower blood sugar readings whereas certains sports which gets the adrenaline pumping can sometimes raise readings for a short time even after sports. Then there is also the effect of your current fitness, if you have never exercised or walked much, doing a 30min exercise might push up readings slightly but it will come down after. It also does not mean its not good to exercise. Stress is another factor. You can imagine that if a dog starts chasing you and you were running for you life. If you tested your readings, I bet it would be high. Similarly, if you are stressed in your daily life, there is an effect on your readings. Finally, always remember to check your strips are in date and you have washed your hands prior to testing.
