Foods to be eaten in the time of pregnancy

There are no specific diet restrictions for pregnant women besides smoking, tobacco and alcohol. Pregnant woman must focus on having a complete well-balanced meals daily with lots of fruits and healthy snacks. For example, a complete thali with dal,rice,yogurt, rotis, subzi, salad etc. is a good way to get a balance meal with all the vitamins and nutrients. Make sure to take you folic acid supplement and iron if you have iron-deficiency. It always makes sense to limit caffeine intake, avoid street foods or any un-hygienically prepared foods from outside, chew food well and to drink lots of water.
