Well there are several signs and symptoms to look out for to determine any indication of kidney disease in diabetics. These can include high blood pressure, leg swelling, frequent urination, puffy eyes, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, sleep and appetite problems, lack of libido etc. If you experience any such symptoms, best to get a blood test done and consult with your doctor immediately. Best way to prevent any kidney problems is to keep blood glucose levels in control and monitor BP regularly.
