My mother has diabetes and she takes Sugar Free and puts it in her cooking as well. Is it safe for all? My father has heart and kidney problems. Also, what is the difference between Sugar Free Natura and Sugar Free Gold?

Sugar free Natura (contains sucralose) and Gold (contains aspartame) are artificial sweeteners.
The major concern about these sweeteners is that they affect the bodys' ability to monitor/measure, how many calories are being consumed!
Our human brain responds to sweeteners with signals to eat more. By providing more sweet tastes, these artificial sweeteners cause us to crave for more sweet foods/drinks that eventually could add up to calories!!
Sucralose is 600 times and aspartame is 200 times sweeter than table sugar.
Sucralose reduces intestinal probiotics and Aspartame is unsafe for people with phenylketonuria.
So, it is wise to practice having lesser amount of table sugar in coffee/tea and desserts!
