Inspired by her father's interaction with her children, Rasheda Ali, daughter of Muhammed Ali wrote this book to address most commonly asked questions from children who may not understand why their loved ones with Parkinson's disease behave in certain ways.

Written for adults to read to their children, the book encourages dialogue through the use of colorful illustrations, situations depicting symptoms, and interactive questions. The book addresses 16 of the most common Parkinson's disease symptoms that frequently concern children who may not understand why their loved ones with the disease behave certain ways. What makes this book different from other books on Parkinson's disease is that it is a tool to enable children to understand what is wrong with their loved one with PD.

I'll Hold Your Hand So You Won't Fall: A Child's Guide to Parkinson's Disease” is a unique book on Parkinson's disease for children and families. The book answers the difficult questions asked by children through colourful and beautiful illustrations with easy-to-read, descriptive text. Also, it educates children, family members and friends of PD patients about its effects, through illustrations depicting symptoms seen on a daily basis, along with explanations.

The book also creates a foundation for dialogue between children and adults who suffer from Parkinson's Disease, and their caregivers.
