Sorry to hear about your cartilage tear Adikailash. Cartilage tear in the knee is seen due to inflammation, trauma, wear down or loss of cartilage. This can occur due to arthritis as well which is closely asociated with Psoriasis. Psoriatic arthritis can cause pain, swelling, stiffness and inflammation of the joints and nail changes. Treatment commonly includes NSAIDs(non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and customized physiotherapy. For severe disease progression, more potent drugs will be suggested by your Rheumatologist. Supplement such as glucosamine sulphate, omega-3 and chondroitin are also helpful for joint lubrication. I would closely follow your doctor's treatment and care plan for your knee so as to prevent further damage.

Psoriasis is not very common in and around the ears. However, since the ear has sensitive skin and delicate organs that need protection, it is essential that great care be taken to avoid any hearing loss. Keep the ears clean and free of scales is important but make sure you do not stick sharp or pointy objects into the ear to remove scales. If there is a build-up of scales, drops of warm olive can be used with a cotton ball to soften the scales. Steroid based creams and ointments should be used as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor may have also prescribed anti-psoriatic tablets to lower your immune system.
