what are food oil and recipe for decreasing high cholestrol?

High fiber foods especially rich in soluble fibers will help reduce the LDL cholesterol in the blood. Soluble fiber is found in foods like kidney beans, apples, pears, carrots, barley, oats, prunes etc.
Omega 3 fatty acids from tuna, salmon, sardines, mackerel also will help reduce the LDL cholesterol.
2 tablespoons of oils per day rich in polyunsaturated oils like sesame, sunflower, corn, soybean and mono unsaturated oils like olive, peanut will help reduce the cholesterol.
Using liquid oils in place of solid fats like butter, margarine, lard, vegetable shortenings will help maintain a good balance of HDL and LDL cholesterol in the blood.
Incorporating more fruits and vegetables with good lean protein and complex carbohydrate will help reduce the LDL cholesterol formation.
