My father had a brain fits on 16th July. we hospitalized him immediately. then he had brain stroke.
after he became little stable by medications. we got him discharged. at home suffered from pneumonia & again he got hospitalized.
doctor treated him & done tracheostomy, now he back home with Pipe in his neck for suction, he is suffering daily with fever.

Fever after a stroke is common! In most cases fever is due to an infection such as pneumonia, UTI etc. In few patients it can be endogenous fever due to an activated immune system. Either way, the fever should be reported to his doctor and brought under control.
What does the doctor say
What does the doctor say about the fever? Is it still pneumonia? Could the tracheostomy have been avoided? How long is the pipe going to be in the neck?
