What type if exercise should I do as I am suffering from right knee pain. Earlier I used to walk daily for 30 minutes but now the pain increases on walking longer. I want to reduce my weight, specially in thighs. Pl suggest.

Sorry to hear about your pain! Knee pain may be due to weight gain, overuse, walking on hard surface, ill-fitting shoes or futher deterioration of the knee joint. Besides walking, certain stretching exercises such as yoga, pilates, and Tai chi have known to be helpful. Walking in the water and swimming are other great options. Focusing on a healthy diet and avoiding sugary, fatty, fried, processed, and outside foods will help lose weight.
