Mental Health During Covid-19 Webinar

Mental Health is an increasing concern during Covid-19 due to restrictions, extended lockdown, distancing - social and physical. PatientsEngage and CMHLP - Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy are hosting a webinar series on ‘Mental Health During COVID-19’ 

COVID-19 is stressful for all of us especially in the context of the extended lockdown. There is a lot of uncertainty, confusion and fear around this lockdown and social distancing.

On Monday 20th April 2020, 4pm IST  we will speak with our panelists Arjun Kapoor and Sharon Ann Sabu to discuss some of the psychosocial responses and practical strategies that you can develop to cope and enhance your health and well-being.

We will talk about:
- Understanding psychosocial issues in the context of lockdown
- Need for support and how can people be supportive to each other through empathetic listening
- Discussing self-care techniques and developing self-care plan
- Discussing few coping mechanisms for enhancing well-being
- Resources for other mental health services available

Arjun Kapoor is a human rights lawyer and psychologist.

Sharon Ann Sabu is a trained counsellor (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
